Hi, welcome to my website. I'm a children’s book illustrator from Pembrokeshire who grew up convinced that every hedgehog, puffin, and pond‑dwelling tadpole deserved its own story. I've been drawing since childhood, when I first discovered that pencils could turn daydreams into actual creatures (much to the alarm of my teachers, who were never quite sure what might appear on the margins of my school books).
Surrounded by the wildlife and wild spaces of Wales, I developed a habit of sketching anything that scurried, swooped, or blinked at me. Those early doodles evolved into a lifelong love of character‑driven illustration—full of warmth, humour, and the occasional animal wearing a tiny hat simply because it felt right.
Today, I bring playful wildlife and big‑hearted characters to life for young readers, blending expressive linework with a storyteller’s imagination.
My illustrations aim to spark curiosity, celebrate nature, and make children feel like the world is full of creatures waiting to say hello.
When he’s not drawing, you’ll probably find him saying hello to random dogs, watching birds, or filling yet another sketchbook with ideas that may or may not involve mischievous creatures.
