I use a mixture of digital and traditional techniques, choosing whatever best suits the mood and style of each project.
Digitally, Procreate is my main tool for creating artwork, with the Affinity Suite helping me refine colours, layouts, and book designs.
For traditional pieces, I love working with Caran d’Ache Neocolor II crayons paired with either Caran d’Ache Museum Aquarelles or Derwent Inktense pencils. And if I’m feeling adventurous, I’ll reach for my old faithful dip pen and a pot of Super Black India Ink. My current paper of choice is the Schoellershammer Bristol pad — wonderfully smooth and very forgiving, whilst allowing the textures of the media to shine through.
