Welcome to the website of children's book illustrator and animation-industry veteran, Greg David - aka me! 

My passion for drawing began at a young age, where I grew up in the countryside in Wales spending countless hours filling sketchbooks and scraps of paper with imaginative illustrations on rainy days, while in dry weather I was outside having adventures with my siblings. 

Eventually I pursued my dreams and studied at what is now known as the Arts University Bournemouth before venturing into the animation industry.

 As a freelancer, I worked on a variety of animation projects, honing my skills in character design and storytelling.

 My hard work and talent led to me setting up my old animation studio, Planet Sunday. For 12 years, I sat at the helm of the studio, delivering award-winning content for a range of clients working on projects for TV, DVD and YouTube that were beloved by children worldwide, earning accolades for our imaginative and vibrant animation work.

 My success with Planet Sunday didn't keep me away from my roots, though. I never lost sight of my love for children's book illustration and continued working on it during my free time. After 12 years, I finally took the leap and decided to dedicate myself to creating beautiful, captivating children's books.

On this website, you will find a portfolio of my artwork. You will see how my home within the beautiful countryside and coastal area of south-west Wales still inspires my work.
